Footwear Solutions FAQs
Why are orthopaedic shoes important?
Orthopaedic shoes are ideal for common foot conditions and complaints such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammer toes, arthritis, claw toes, diabetic foot problems, metatarsalgia and amputations.
Do you stock nurses shoes?
Yes, many nurses and teachers prefer our range of orthopaedic shoes as they spend so much time on their feet. Orthopaedic shoes are fitted by our experienced staff so that the wearer gets maximum comfort, support and control.
Do you stock wide fitting shoes?
Yes. Wide fitting shoes, extra wide shoes, extra wide womens shoes and extra wide mens shoes are either available in our range or can be custom made.
Do you custom make diabetic shoes?
Yes we do. At Footwear Solutions in Bendigo we provide diabetic shoes that help prevent foot problems for people living with diabetes resulting from neuropathy, poor circulation and decreased resistance to infection. Poorly fitted shoes can lead to blisters, ulcers and infection. We can provide custom made diabetic shoes that fit comfortably, have adequate depth, width, sturdy structure and can accommodate orthotics and orthotic arch supports.
Do you provide orthopaedic shoe fittings to places other than Bendigo?
Yes. At Footwear Solutions, as many of our clients have impaired mobility we regularly visit nursing homes, hospitals and hostels in and around Ballarat, Bendigo, Horsham, Swan Hill and Nhill.
Do you stock orthotic shoes?
Many of our ranges such as Walk On and NAOT are specifically designed to accommodate custom orthotics, orthotic arch supports and orthotic inserts.
